With this pattern, you can make rounded barn toe for a toe-up sock. The pattern works for almost any yarn and stitch count. Increases are worked on sides of the sock so the increase lines will be visible. The first half of the increases are made each round while the second half is worked every other round. Just enter the total amount of stitches you wish to have for your sock and you\u2019ll get the instructions for the increases. Pattern<\/h2>\n

This pattern is written for the magic loop method but can be adjusted to dpns.<\/p>\n

Length of the toe will be 1.8<\/span>\u2019\u2019 (4.5<\/span>cm).<\/p>\n

CO 8<\/span> sts on each needle. You should now have a total of 16<\/span> sts.<\/p>\n

You can use for instance Judy\u2019s Magic Cast On or Turkish Cast On method.<\/a><\/p>\n

K one round.<\/p>\n

ROUND 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Needle 1: <\/strong>k1, k1fb, k to 2 sts from end, k1fb, k1.<\/p>\n

Needle 2: <\/strong>Work the same way as Needle 1.<\/p>\n

Repeat round 1 a total of 3<\/span> times. You should now have a total of 28<\/span> sts.<\/p>\n

ROUND 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Needle 1: <\/strong>k all<\/p>\n

Needle 2: <\/strong>Work the same way as Needle 1.<\/p>\n

Repeat rounds 2 & 1 a total of 7<\/span> times. You should now have a total of 56<\/span> sts.<\/p>\n

The toe is now finished.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
