But you can easily <a href=\"https:\/\/www.knitgrammer.com\/blog\/how-to-adjust-a-pattern-written-for-the-magic-loop-method-for-dpns-and-vice-versa\/\">adjust it for double-pointed needles<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.knitgrammer.com\/blog\/knitting-abbreviations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Knitting abbreviations used in this pattern you can find here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Cuff<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.knitgrammer.com\/tutorial\/simple-two-color-cast-on-method-for-double-knitting\/\">Using two color cast on method<\/a> CO 68 sts&nbsp; (34 sts of each color). Divide evenly over 2 needles: 34 sts each needle (17 of each color). PM, join for knitting in the round. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Double knit in stockinette the following pattern. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>4 rows with C1 at the front of the work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 row with C2 at the front of the work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 rows with C1 at the front of the work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 row with C2 at the front of the work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14 rows with C1 at the front of the work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Hand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-3 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Start working the colorwork chart below. Work the chart on <em>Needle 1<\/em> only. Work the back sts with reversible colors. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After finishing the colorwork double knit 3 more rows of stockinette with C1 at the front of the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Decreases<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You are now at the beginning of <em>Needle 1<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"no-style-list\">\n<li><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Reorder the first 4 sts on <em>Needle 1<\/em> so that you have the first two sts of C1 next to each other and after those sts there are the first two sts of C2 next to each other. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step 2: <\/strong>ssk (C1), p2tog (C2), double knit in stockinette until 4 sts (2 sts of both colors) remain on the <em>Needle 1<\/em>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step 3: <\/strong>Reorder the last 4 sts on <em>Needle 1<\/em> so that you have the last two sts of C1 next to each other and after those the last two sts of C2 next to each other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> k2tog (C1), p2togtbl (C2)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You are now at the end of <em>Needle 1<\/em>. Repeat steps 1 to 4 on needle 2 as well. A total of 52 sts (26 sts of each color) remaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Repeat previous steps on both needles on every round until a total of 12 sts (6 sts of each color) remaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Finishing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-9 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Break the yarn leaving approximately 12\u2033  (30cm) tail. With C2 behind the work bring the darning needle through&nbsp;sts of C2. Pull the yarn through to the other side of the work so that you can weave it in later. Now pull C1 tight and weave in ends of both colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.
