The pattern is written for the magic loop method but can be adjusted for double-pointed needles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cuff<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With CC and main needles CO 48 (56) 64 sts. Divide stitches evenly on two needles 24 (28) 32 sts per needle. A total of 14 (16) 18 sts remaining on <em>Needle 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gusset decreases<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Resume working in the round. On <em>Needle 1<\/em> (instep) continue working in pattern on <em>Needle 2<\/em> (sole) work in stockinette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>K to end of <em>Needle 2<\/em>. With <em>Needle 2<\/em> pickup and knit 12 (14) 16 sts along the left side of the heel flap (pickup the thread between the garter bumps). BOR will be here. Work in pattern to the end of <em>Needle 1<\/em>. Pickup and knit 12 (14) 16 sts along the right side of the heel flap. K to end of <em>Needle 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You should have now a total of 38 (44) 50 sts on <em>Needle 2<\/em> and 24 (28) 32 sts on <em>Needle 1<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Round 7<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"no-style-list\">\n<li><strong>Needle 1: <\/strong>work in pattern<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Needle 2:<\/strong> ssk, k until 2 sts remain, k2tog<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Round 8<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"no-style-list\">\n<li><strong>Needle 1:<\/strong> work in pattern<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Needle 2: <\/strong>k all<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Repeat rounds 7 &amp; 8 6 (7) 8 more times. Between the decrease rounds work in pattern. A total of 24 (28) 32 sts remaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Decrease every round 3 (4) 4 times. 12 (12) 16 sts remaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Break the yarn leaving approximately 12\u2033 (30cm) tail.
